We live in a world in which our most vulnerable population is often forgotten about...

The inception of Havenn House began when Quira Alston began to see first hand while working in the Children's System of Care (CSOC) the damaging effects on the youth when they are not made a priority, given the resources to succeed, and given an example to follow. Coming against poverty, mental health issues, abuse and neglect is extremely difficult for a vulnerable population when their needs are not met. Quira noticed that the young adult population was lost in the process of simply "getting the youth to adulthood".

Havenn House was developed to spread hope that there is more to life than what has been seen or experienced. That there is a future and a hope for our youth and young adults. Havenn House is non-profit organization that desires to become the ultimate ally with communities filling the gaps and adapting to the needs of the youth and young adult populations to help them achieve their goals.

We believe that Jesus will provide the healing and all we need to do is be in position to help steward the healing and restoration that only God can bring. Our goal is to establish a group home where youth and young adults can learn how to lead successful lives according to their divine purpose and identity in Christ. We strive to develop a community and safe haven where the youth can always call home. Until then, our plan is to continue to leave God's footprint on our community by exemplifying His love, His compassion, and His purpose through community outreach, mentoring, counseling and so much more!
